The National Excellence Network EGIDA, promoted by CDTI, is part of the Cervera initiative for Technology Centers. The purpose of the program is to strengthen the technology centers that develop applied research in Spain, as well as their role as a driving force in the Spanish Science, Technology and Innovation System as a whole.

pecifically, it is intended to strengthen the capacities of these centers in strategic technologies through networking, as well as to promote their ability to collaborate with various agents, especially companies.
